In Turkmenistan, the National Chamber of Lawyers will be established as part of the project "Enhancing the Capacity of Lawyers' Collegiums in Turkmenistan" with the support of the UNDP and the British Embassy in the country, as reported by the online publication Centralasia.news.
The project aims to enhance the capacity of lawyers' collegiums in Turkmenistan in the context of providing legal assistance according to international standards. It will contribute to the implementation of the National Action Plan "Improving the System of Lawyers' Collegiums."
The Chamber of Lawyers is intended to represent and defend the interests of lawyers, coordinate the actions of lawyers' collegiums in the regions and the capital of Turkmenistan, and address issues that directly affect the interests of the legal community. Additionally, the UNDP will support the digitalization of the activities of lawyers' collegiums.
