On March 19, a Turkmen delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, participated in negotiations with the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for the Economy, European Commissioner for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas, EU Commissioner for International Cooperation Jutta Urpilainen, and the Head of the European Parliament's Delegation for Central Asia and Mongolia, Tomas Zdechovsky.
The discussions focused on the cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU in trade, economy, and humanitarian areas. Both sides emphasized the progress of projects in Turkmenistan with the support of the EU. Joint projects in the fields of science and education, green economy, and climate were also addressed during the meeting.
