The meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Singapore and South Korea, B. Durdyev, and the Minister of the Prime Minister's Office, Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, took place on March 21. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the discussions held during the meeting.
The parties discussed the implementation of the goals and objectives of the foreign policy agencies of both countries aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation. The Turkmenistan Ambassador informed about the events planned for the "Treasury of Wisdom Mahtumkuli Fragi" year and provided updates on the progress of the second phase of construction in the city of Arkadag.
The wide potential for the development of trade and economic cooperation was highlighted during the meeting. Promising areas of partnership included the fuel and energy sector, transportation and logistics, chemical industry, manufacturing, and agriculture. Environmental and nature conservation issues were also addressed during the discussions.
