An international forum titled "Turkmen Land - Center of Ancient Civilizations" is set to take place in Ashgabat as part of the events under the banner of "Anau - Cultural Capital of the Turkic World-2024" and in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Mahtumkuli Fraghi. The news was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal."
The forum will be attended by representatives of leading global media companies, information platforms, and news agencies. The opening of the forum will take place on March 28 at the Yyldyz Hotel. The event will focus on four main directions: "Unity of Turkic Culture and Its Role in the Media," "Treasure of Mahtumkuli Fraghi's Wisdom," "Digital Media and News," as well as "Films, Animations, and Film Festivals."
Among the invited guests are the Secretary-General of the Turkic Council Sultan Raev, the Director-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation News Agencies Alami Mohammed, the founder of the digital platform New Media Networks, film producer Akim Mogadzhi, the head of the International Film Forum "Golden Knight" in Georgia D. Okropiridze, the director of the British company New Media Design Erzurumlu Ilhami Umid, and others.
