On March 25th, talks were held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan, Sh. Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, B. Saidov. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the meeting.
During the discussions, the parties addressed various issues related to fruitful bilateral cooperation in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, transport, communication, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. They also touched upon current topics on the regional and global agenda.
Both sides emphasized the importance of regular contacts between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in strengthening friendly relations.
The parties expressed mutual confidence in the further development of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, highlighting the positive prospects for collaboration.
