On March 26, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan N. Gollyev met with the director of the Ch. Aitmatov Institute of Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic A. AkmatAliyev. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the meeting.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in academic and scientific fields were discussed, including through joint events in Kyrgyzstan dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the declaration of 2024 as the year of "The Treasure of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Wisdom" in Turkmenistan.
The Kyrgyz side expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for the high organization of the 15th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Turkic States Organization held in Ashgabat.
