Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation: New Venezuelan Ambassador Presents Credentials in Turkmenistan

On March 27th, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Turkmenistan (based in Baku), Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran, presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ahmed Gurbanov. The Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on this diplomatic event.

During the meeting, the key areas of Turkmen-Venezuelan cooperation were discussed, emphasizing mutual respect, equality, and mutually beneficial partnership. The fruitful partnership within international organizations was noted, with both countries frequently collaborating on international initiatives.

Priority areas for trade and economic cooperation were identified, including energy, oil and gas, agriculture, and green technologies. Cultural interaction was also highlighted, with plans for cultural program exchanges, educational projects, and joint cultural, artistic, and educational events being discussed during the meeting.
