President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, met with the Secretary-General of the Turkic States Organization, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, on March 27th. The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation between the organization and Turkmenistan. President Berdymukhamedov emphasized that the events related to the designation of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world will promote the popularization of Turkmen culture and expand cultural exchanges among Turkic countries.
During the conversation, the productive cooperation with the Turkic States Organization was also emphasized. Special attention was given to the joint celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, whose works are a heritage of the entire Turkic world.
