On March 27, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to South Korea, Begench Durdyev, met with the President of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. The meeting focused on collaboration in the educational and scientific fields, within the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamed Azadi and Hankuk University.
Discussions included joint events in 2024 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi, as well as the possibility of opening a Turkmen language faculty at the Korean university.
