In Turkmenistan, the fifth session of the country's seventh convocation Mejlis took place, where laws aligned with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's priorities and a comprehensive program to modernize the legislative framework were reviewed and adopted. The online publication "TurkmenPortal" reported on the event.
Representatives from ministries, agencies, and media participated in the meeting. The session included the consideration of the draft law on "Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency," which includes the application of energy-efficient technologies and the implementation of energy management in Turkmenistan.
Additionally, the draft law on "Hydrometeorological Activities" was discussed, aiming to establish the legal framework for providing information on hydrometeorological activities and the state of the environment. Other legislative projects were also on the agenda and reviewed during the session.
