On April 1st, at the Presidential Palace "Aiwan-e-Sadr", the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Pakistan, Atadjan Movlamov, met with the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari. The Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on the meeting.
The Ambassador conveyed congratulations from President Serdar Berdymukhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbandurdy Berdymukhamedov on the occasion of Asif Ali Zardari's re-assumption of the presidency.
During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues related to bilateral cooperation in different areas of mutual interest. It was noted that the intergovernmental relations are based on mutual respect, equality, and mutually beneficial partnership.
The President of Pakistan emphasized the country's great value in fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan.
