A regional meeting of the heads of OSCE missions in Central Asia took place on March 5th at the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The participants included OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova, heads of OSCE field missions in Central Asian countries, employees of regional representations, OSCE Secretariat, and a representative of the OSCE chairmanship from the Republic of Malta.
M. Byashimova emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to continuing fruitful cooperation with the OSCE, aimed at strengthening peace, stability, and trust among participating states. It was noted that Turkmenistan, guided by the principles of permanent neutrality, advocates for dialogue in resolving international conflicts.
