On April 5th, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, held a meeting with a delegation from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly for Central Asia led by Special Representative Fara Karimi. The sides discussed the prospects for further development of inter-parliamentary cooperation in a bilateral format and within international organizations. The Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of coordinating efforts between the Assembly and Turkmenistan to ensure economic development, address environmental issues, promote rational use of water resources, engage with youth, and support the "Women's Dialogue of Central Asian Countries."
