On April 9th, President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, held talks with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the meeting.
President Berdymukhamedov highlighted that the visit of the Georgian Parliament Chairman to Turkmenistan would contribute to expanding effective cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of legislation. The fruitful nature of the partnership in trade, economy, energy, industry, healthcare, and other sectors was emphasized. Cooperation in transport and logistics was also deemed promising.
Special attention was given to inter-parliamentary cooperation in shaping and improving the international legal framework. The discussions aimed to enhance collaboration between Turkmenistan and Georgia across various spheres, fostering mutual benefits and further strengthening the ties between the two nations.
