The Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva, Vepa Hajiyev, met with the Director-General of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications (RCC), Alexey Borodin, on April 9. The meeting discussed cooperation in the field of communication and informatization, including the possibility of hosting major international events in Turkmenistan in the field of information and communication technologies.
The parties also touched upon current communication initiatives, highlighting the potential for joint events with the RCC in Geneva. Issues regarding expanding the membership of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications and collaboration in the sphere of info-communications with relevant organizations were also addressed.
