A meeting was held at the office of Waagner Biro steel and glass company in Vienna, where the Austrian-Turkmen Society discussed ways to enhance their fruitful cooperation. Members of the society, Austrian company leaders, and representatives of Turkmen companies participated online. The honorary guest was the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria, Hemra Amannazarov.
The meeting focused on the recent visit of the Turkmen Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, to Austria and his discussions with the Austrian Foreign Minister, Alexander Schallenberg. An agreement on cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for the years 2024-2025 was signed.
In May of this year, a delegation of Austrian company representatives will visit Ashgabat in response. The signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Austrian-Turkmen Society and the company "Bash Taglym Turkmen" is planned. The meeting also addressed other issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
