Augusto da Silva Kunya has also been appointed as the Ambassador of Angola to Turkmenistan. On April 16, the newly appointed Ambassador will arrive in Ashgabat to present his credentials.
During the meeting, the current status of bilateral cooperation and the prospects for political and diplomatic interaction were discussed. The fruitful collaboration within international structures, particularly the United Nations, was highlighted. In 2023, Angola expressed support for Turkmenistan's initiative on "Enhancing connectivity between all modes of transport to achieve sustainable development goals."
Both parties agreed to continue their working cooperation, paving the way for further strengthening ties between Turkmenistan and Angola in various fields.
