Specialists from the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Statistics, in collaboration with UNICEF and UNFPA, have completed fieldwork for data collection as part of a multi-indicator cluster survey. The news was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Since the beginning of the year, over 6800 households have been surveyed, with the village of Charshangy in the Koitendag etrap of the Lebap velayat being the latest surveyed. The data collected will now be processed, and initial results are expected to be published in the third quarter of this year.
This work will enable monitoring the progress towards national goals and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The MICS7 survey holds particular significance in developing programs aimed at improving the lives of children and families.
