Manfred Profazi, the Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for Southeastern, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia, highlighted Turkmenistan's role in promoting peace and security during a forum in Ashgabat on April 11.
The event, reported by "SNG.today," focused on declaring 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, with a special emphasis on implementing the global compact for safe, orderly, and regular migration. Both the IOM and Turkmenistan expressed their commitment to further collaboration. Profazi supported Turkmenistan's initiative to declare 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust and expressed hope to participate in the conference scheduled for December next year.
