On April 15, the Second Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue "Council of Cooperation of Arab States of the Gulf - Central Asia" (CCASG + CA) took place in Tashkent, where the Turkmen delegation, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, participated. The event was also attended by delegations from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Central Asian countries. Discussions revolved around cooperation in trade, economy, investment, transportation, culture, environmental protection, and tourism sectors.
The progress of the "Joint Action Plan for Strategic Communication and Cooperation for 2023-2027" was also addressed. Following the meeting, a Joint Statement by the Foreign Ministers of Central Asian and Gulf Arab States was adopted.
