On April 15th, during the fields of the second Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Strategic Dialogue "Central Asia - Cooperation Council of Arab States of the Gulf" in Tashkent, negotiations were held between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The discussions focused on the development of bilateral strategic cooperation, noting the growth in trade turnover, effective partnerships in industrial cooperation, energy, transportation and logistics, and agriculture.
Within the framework of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, a series of events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fragi are planned in Uzbekistan this year. The progress in preparation for upcoming meetings was discussed, along with an exchange of views on the current international agenda.
