On April 18, 2024, Augusto da Silva Cunha, the appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Turkmenistan, presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ahmed Gurbanov. The Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this event.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed readiness to assist in the implementation of his diplomatic mission. The parties discussed expanding cooperation in trade, economic, political, diplomatic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as enhancing interaction within international structures.
In conclusion, the Ambassador expressed willingness to exert all efforts to broaden and deepen the bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Angola.
