The final document, named the Ashgabat Declaration, was adopted at the 38th meeting of the Conference of General Directors of Railways of the OSJD and representatives of transport and logistics companies - affiliated enterprises of the OSJD. During the conference, the importance of further improving international railway transport, the significance of shaping a coordinated transport policy in this area, and the importance of enhancing legal documents regulating the sphere of international transport were highlighted. Additionally, the need to expand cooperation among OSJD member countries was emphasized.
The efforts of Turkmenistan in creating multimodal routes and implementing the country's transit and transport potential were also recognized. Significant decisions in the field of international railway transport were made at the conclusion of the conference.
