On April 17, 2024, a meeting took place between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Atadjan Movlamov, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The Pakistani side expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan in the fields of energy, trade, and communication. The importance of effective collaboration on regional projects and initiatives was highlighted. Additionally, the need to enhance high-level exchanges and meetings within bilateral institutional mechanisms was emphasized.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the ambassador informed the prime minister about the planned joint activities. The Turkmen diplomat conveyed congratulations to the prime minister on his re-election by the leadership of Turkmenistan.
