A delegation from the Mejlis of Turkmenistan is currently on a working visit to Georgia from April 21 to 27. The TurkmenPortal website reported on this diplomatic mission.
During the visit, the delegation met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee, Mr. Gogi Meshveliani, and experts from the committee in the Georgian Parliament. The Turkmen delegates were briefed on the key tasks and activities of the Georgian Parliament and the Budget and Finance Committee.
The meeting discussed issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation and knowledge exchange. Attention was also given to supporting parliamentarians from both countries in developing trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations.
Both sides expressed mutual interest in further enhancing partnership in areas of mutual interest. This visit signifies a positive step towards strengthening parliamentary ties between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
