On April 26, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting with the director of the German horse breeding company Jeýkob Ferdezuçt GBR, Katarina Irina Anna Margareta Jakob, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in events celebrating the Day of the Akhal-Teke Horse, as reported by the online publication Centralasia.news.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted that special attention is paid to the development of horse breeding in Turkmenistan. The establishment of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding with its headquarters in Ashgabat and the admission of representatives from different countries to its membership have contributed to international cooperation in this field.
The head of the German horse breeding company stated that she will make every effort to increase the popularity of Akhal-Teke horses, which are considered the true elite of the world's horse breeding industry.
