As part of the trip "Discover the Beauty of China" to the Shandong province on April 22, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the PRC P. Durdyev met with the governor of Shandong province, Zhou Naixiang. This was reported by the online publication "Vestiabad".
During the meeting, the diplomat highlighted the historical ties between Turkmenistan and China, including within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. The Turkmen diplomat participated in a high-level conference on cultural tourism. During his speech, he noted the fruitful cooperation with China in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, particularly with the Shandong province in the field of knowledge exchange and trade along the Great Silk Road.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan also spoke about the work of Makhtumkuli Fragi, who influenced the formation of Turkmen culture.
