In the period from April 25 to 26, Turkmen-Turkish political consultations took place in Ankara with the participation of a delegation from Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, A. Gurbanov. This information was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the first round of consultations, a meeting of deputy ministers of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan and Turkey was held. Issues of cooperation in the political-diplomatic, cultural-humanitarian, and trade-economic spheres were discussed, as well as matters of the international agenda.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in the transport and energy sectors. The second round saw inter-ministerial consultations. The parties discussed expanding cooperation in various areas, as well as collaboration within the framework of the United Nations. Prospective directions for cultural-humanitarian cooperation were outlined, including in the fields of education, science, and culture.
