President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting in an online format with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahallayev and hokims of the velayats. This was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
During the meeting, current issues related to the implementation of agricultural activities in the country were discussed. Currently, cotton sowing and vegetative irrigation, inter-row processing of seedlings, thinning, and weeding are ongoing. Care for wheat crops is being carried out. Measures are being taken to prepare receiving points, elevators, grain harvesters, and transportation equipment. Work is being done to increase the volume of potato and vegetable crops cultivation, as well as to increase silk production.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave relevant instructions to responsible persons for the timely implementation of agricultural work.
