On May 3, a meeting took place between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia M. Ayazov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan. This was reported by the online publication "Vestiabad".
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, culture and humanitarian affairs, as well as transport and logistics. They also touched upon current topics of interaction within regional and international organizations.
Armenia is actively establishing connections in the transport sector with the countries of Central Asia. The Armenian side has shown interest in developing mutual trade by utilizing Turkmenistan's transport potential. The upcoming meeting of the Turkmen-Armenian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation was also discussed.
