Vice Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov presented a report on the progress of implementing digital technologies in various sectors of the economy during a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on May 10. The report also included data on the digitization of public services, as reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
As part of the "State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021–2025", automated electronic information systems are being created and put into operation to ensure their accessibility and information security. The Vice Prime Minister reported to the President of the country on the project to implement a digital automated system in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and in the Pension Fund.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of expanding the range of digital information services for the population and gave relevant instructions to the Vice Prime Minister.
