Today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia Terhi Hakala. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The agenda of the meeting included discussions on cooperation and the prospects for further development between Turkmenistan and the European Union. Among the promising areas of partnership mentioned were environmental protection, "green" and digital transformations, education, energy, and the transport and logistics sector.
Current issues related to the upcoming joint conference of Turkmenistan and the EU in honor of the 30th anniversary of cooperation were discussed, as well as the organizational matters of the upcoming ministerial conference in the format of "Central Asia - European Union" in Ashgabat.
