In the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on May 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Japan-Turkmenistan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan, Toshiaki Endo. During the meeting, the parties discussed the main directions of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in political-diplomatic, cultural-humanitarian, and trade-economic spheres. In this regard, the significance of the activities of the Turkmen-Japanese parliamentary friendship group was emphasized.
Special attention was paid to the issues related to the organization of the first Summit of the countries participating in the Central Asia+Japan Dialogue.
