On May 18th, a meeting took place between the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, and the Deputy Chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Shen Yueyue. This was reported by the online publication "Vestiabad."
At the beginning of the meeting, Shen Yueyue congratulated the President on Constitution Day and State Flag Day, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the celebrations marking the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fragi. The parties highlighted the strategic nature of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation.
The importance of the Türkmen-Hytaý zenanlarynyň dünýäsi forum was emphasized during the discussions, focusing on the role of women in the social and political development of both countries.
It was noted that cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, trade, economic, and energy sectors holds a significant place in the bilateral relations between China and Turkmenistan.
