On March 14, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the outgoing Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Michael Birkhoff. The discussions focused on the future development of cooperation and the implementation of agreements reached during the working visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to Germany for a meeting in the "Central Asia - Germany" format.
The fruitful cooperation in the trade and economic sphere was highlighted, particularly the effective work of the Turkmen-German working group on economic cooperation. The need to continue collaboration in healthcare, culture, education, and the study of the German language in Turkmenistan was also emphasized.
