A Turkmen delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, Azat Ovezov, participated in the International Medical Conference "Medical Korea 2024 – the 14th Global Conference on Healthcare and Medical Tourism" in Seoul from March 14 to 15, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the forum, participants from various countries discussed key tasks and trends in healthcare. The Turkmen delegation held bilateral talks with the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare of South Korea, Kim He Jin, on cooperation in the field of healthcare and medicine.
Meetings also took place with the President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, Mr. Chon Chan Hyun, and a delegation from the Chilgok Hospital of Kyungpook National University, headed by Professor of Mammography at Kyungpook National University, Dr. Kim Won Hwa.
