On March 14, 2024, the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN in Geneva held a parallel event on involving youth in achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
The event featured the presentation of the publication "Youth – the Pillar of the Motherland" by Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdymukhamedov. The Turkmenistan delegation, led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs M. Byashimova, and the UN Regional Coordinator in Turkmenistan D. Shlapachenko, participated in the event.
Foreign diplomatic mission heads accredited in Geneva were also among the attendees. During her speech, the head of the Turkmen delegation discussed Turkmenistan's youth policy and their involvement in addressing global challenges.
