On March 17, 2024, a bilateral meeting took place between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to South Korea, Begench Durdyev, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea, Kim Jin Pyo. The Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of agreements previously reached at a high level between Turkmenistan and South Korea. The Korean side expressed readiness to develop fruitful relations between the two countries and comprehensive cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
Turkmenistan and South Korea actively cooperate both bilaterally and within the "Central Asia +" format, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening ties and fostering mutual cooperation.
