The Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkmenistan has organized a tree planting campaign on the premises of the diplomatic mission, as reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal."
The campaign is dedicated to the Nationwide Tree-Planting Campaign, initiated by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on March 16, and is taking place on the eve of the spring holiday of Novruz. The campaign also honors the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.
A special area has been designated on the premises for the future garden named after Heydar Aliyev, where 60 evergreen boxwood seedlings and 20 Dutch roses have been planted. The initiator of the garden's creation is the founder of the company "Turkmen Khazar Yollary," Gashim Saftarov. According to him, Heydar Aliyev paid special attention to environmental protection, cleanliness of the environment, landscaping, and the promotion of environmental culture.
