The Singapore Institute of Management Development recently hosted an event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Mahtumkuli Fragi's birth, attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Singapore, Begench Durdyev. The Turkmen diplomat met with the university's director, Dr. Eric Kuan, discussing collaboration under the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Singapore Institute of Management Development and the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
The event featured presentations on the life and work of Mahtumkuli Fragi and on the city of Anau, declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.
