On March 8th, Amanoltan Kakabaeva from Dashoguz, Turkmenistan, celebrated her 102nd birthday. The news was reported by the online publication "Vestiabad."
Representatives from the trade union association of the Dashoguz region of the National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan congratulated the woman on her birthday, presenting her with valuable gifts and a bouquet of flowers.
Born in 1922 in the Dashoguz region to a farmer family, Amanoltan Kakabaeva recalls long days of hard work in the fields from early morning till late at night. She later got married, raised two daughters and three sons with her husband Kakabaev, and today she has 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The secret to her longevity, she says, lies in daily hard work and the responsibility of raising children and grandchildren.
