The UN Population Fund office in Turkmenistan has organized a three-day seminar on women's reproductive rights. Representatives from the Turkmenistan Parliament's Social Policy Committee, Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, civil society organizations, and the Ombudsman's Office attended the seminar.
The goal of the seminar is to enhance the capacity and awareness of women's reproductive rights. International consultant from UNFPA, Yanina Arsenyeva, discussed the peculiarities of providing reproductive health services to people with disabilities, as well as the importance of complying with international legal standards by organizations and institutions when delivering reproductive health services.
