During a Cabinet meeting in Turkmenistan, Vice Premier M. Mammedova presented a report on the progress in the cultural and media sectors for the first two months of 2024. The country is actively working towards increasing the number of electronic publications and enhancing the online presence of cultural and media institutions in line with the State Programs and the Concept of Digital Economy Development.
Efforts are being made to improve the qualifications of specialists in information and communication technologies. Notably, a meeting between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the New Museum of Berlin took place, focusing on an exhibition showcasing artifacts from the Parthian and Seljuk Empires.
Furthermore, reports on the activities of theaters, cinemas, cultural centers, libraries, museums, the Turkmen State Publishing Service, the Turkmenfilm Studio named after Oguzkhan, and the State Information Agency were also presented during the meeting.
