On April 7th, a mass cycling event took place in Ashgabat in honor of World Health Day, with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov. The event was reported by the online publication "Vestiabad".
Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of the Mejlis, ministries, law enforcement agencies, Ashgabat administration, public associations, universities, employees of accredited diplomatic missions and international organizations, as well as cyclists from the national team, students, pupils of the School of Young Olympians, and residents of the Döwletliler köşgi Palace took part in the mass event.
The cycling route started from the "Bicycle" monument and ended at the intersection of Bitarap Turkmenistan and A. Niyazov avenues. Leading the column was the Head of State, demonstrating excellent physical fitness.
