On April 7, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia, in collaboration with the Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov, organized a concert "Treasure of the Mind of Makhtumkuli Fragi". The event took place at the concert hall of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts "Gallery of Arts of Zurab Tsereteli", as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic mission, artists and cultural figures of Russia, representatives of state and public organizations, Turkmen students studying in Russian universities.
During the concert dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fragi, works by N. Halmamedov, D. Ovezov, A. Pakhmutova, Ch. Nurymov, Eduardo Di Capua, N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, and M. Guseynov were performed.
The event, conducted at a high organizational level, served as evidence of the active development of cultural and humanitarian ties between Russia and Turkmenistan.
