President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, congratulated the citizens of the country on Oraza Bayram - a holiday marking the end of the 30-day fast. The news was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
In his message, the Head of State noted that this holiday symbolizes charity, kindness, and humanism. The Turkmen people honor ancient traditions: during the month of Oraza, fasting was observed, special prayers were recited, families gathered for festive meals, and prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the Motherland were said.
During the Sacred month of Oraza, a mosque named after Seyit Jamaladdin was inaugurated in the city of Anau, while new mosques were opened in the villages of Hazar, Rukhubelent, Dovletli, and Shatlyk.
