In Ashgabat, 30 trainers have completed a training on integrating climate change adaptation into water management planning in Turkmenistan. The training was organized by UNDP in collaboration with the Green Climate Fund and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan as part of the project "Development of the national adaptation planning process in Turkmenistan."
During the event, a presentation of the educational manual "Integration of Climate Change Adaptation into Water Management Planning in Turkmenistan" took place. This manual aims to enhance the qualifications of specialists and promote the integration of adaptation methods and practices on a regular basis. The initiative is a crucial step towards building resilience to the impacts of climate change in Turkmenistan.
