Today in Ashgabat, the annual championship of Turkmenistan in tennis among boys and girls under 14 and 18 years old was opened. This information was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Around 150 young tennis players from different regions and cities of Turkmenistan will participate in the competition. The championship will take place on the courts of the capital's multifunctional stadium "Ashgabat".
The chief referee of the tennis tournament will be 39-year-old national category arbiter, holder of the international Level 1 coaching category, Yevgeny Molchanov. The winners of the national championship will be determined in singles and doubles categories.
Following the start of the annual tennis championship today, participants of the youth national teams among juniors under 14 and 18 years old will be selected.
