The head of the Angor district of the Surkhandarya region, Kosim Mardonov, has acquired a Captiva-5 car using funds from the "women's notebook." This caught the attention of the Telegram channel "Revisor." The information is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan.

Specifically, it is reported that the 2018 Captiva car (license plate - 75 026 DAV), which was on the balance sheet of the district administration, was involved in a traffic accident in November 2022, rendering it inoperable. The car was sold at an auction for 120 million sum in March 2023.

In February of this year, the head of the district signed a decision to allocate 349 million sum to purchase a new car.
