Turkish Authorities Deport Uzbek Citizen Wanted for Fraud

On March 12, a 35-year-old man wanted for fraud was deported from Turkey to Uzbekistan, as reported by the Uzbek Consulate General in Istanbul.

Holmirza Asimovich Khakberdiev was apprehended during a joint operation between law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Turkey.

Citizens affected by the man's actions are urged to contact the Uzbek Consulate General in Istanbul or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The statement highlights that joint law enforcement operations will continue systematically.

Several women accused of human trafficking have also been deported from Turkey since the beginning of the year. On February 21, 23-year-old Munisakhon Alizhonova was deported, followed by Nilufar Mirkhanova, known as "Madam Claude," on January 10, and Dilnoza Umarova and Mavludakhon Ulmasova on January 24.

On January 30, 58-year-old Fakhriddin Shakarboev and 31-year-old Khumoyunbek Mardonov, wanted for financial crimes, were extradited from Turkey.
